Ohio Shape Maps

These handmade Ohio maps are a unique eye-catching pieces that are sure to make a statement in any room. These maps are created by nailing authentic Ohio license plates from all around Ohio onto a piece of plywood that has been stained a rich walnut color. The license plates, which feature of variety of colors and designs, are carefully arranged to form the shape of the state. The result is a one-of-a-kind map that pays tribute to the Buckeye State and its history.

We carefully nail down license plates to a 3/4 inch piece of plywood and then cut the license plates close to the edge.  We then use a metal grinder around the edges for  clean line.  We finish off the piece by sanding all around the edges to eliminate sharp edges for a clean finish.  We love making these one of a kind pieces.
